AMC has issued a public notice regarding the closure of all slaughterhouses in the city, between 12th and 19th September, and once again on the 24th of September. This decision was taken by the Standing Committee,following the appointment of all the new officials. This rule is being implemented due to the upcoming holy festival of Paryushan, observed by the Jain community.
