Bulldozers were deployed to dispose of an estimated 1 crore worth of liquor in Gujarat, where despite a liquor ban on paper, substantial amounts are annually sold and seized by the police. The disposal took place near Dhanora village, with high-ranking officials, including the Dy Collector, overseeing the destruction of confiscated liquor from six police stations in Vadodara – Jawaharnagar, Chhani, Gorwa, Sayajiganj, Nandesari, and Lakshmipura.
