ACB arrested an official red-handed for taking bribe.
During a raid in Varachha A zone, an official of the Urban Development Department was caught accepting a bribe of Rs. 35 thousand. SMC Junior Engineer Keur Patel and Pattawala Nimesh Gandhi were arrested. It is worth mentioning that a bribe of Rs. 50 thousand was demanded for not demolishing the upper floor of the complainant's house. ACB arrested both and conducted further investigation.
