A very gruesome incident has come to light where a man was beaten to death by the husband of the woman with whom the victim eloped in Shinor taluka’s Malpur village. The assailants including the husband and two brothers initially attempted to stage the incident as an accident to conceal their crime. However, when the young man survived the crash, he was abducted in his car and subsequently ended his life. The perpetrators went to great lengths to destroy any evidence of their heinous acts. The Shinor police initiated an investigation based on the complaint filed by the wife regarding her lover’s disappearance. Remarkably, the veil shrouding this blind murder was lifted within 11 days. The culprits—Ghanshyam Vasava, the victim's ex-husband, his brother Sandeep Vasava, and informant Shakeel Marjusha Diwan—have been apprehended.
