A fire incident occurred in the Millennium Market, located on the Ring Road of Surat. The shops on the seventh floor of Millennium Market-2 had a large stock of textiles, including sarees. However, on receiving the fire call, the staff of the Surat Fire Department, including twelve vehicles from six stations, reached the location of the fire and brought the fire under control.
