AAP MLA Chaitar Vasava, who had been evading arrest for a month in connection with assaulting a forest worker case, surrendered at Dediyapada Police Station. His supporters gathered, shouting slogans, leading to a clash with the police. A case was filed for assaulting forest department personnel in Narmada district. Vasava's attempts for anticipatory bail in Sessions Court and High Court were both rejected.
