Employees serving as temporary cleaning staff have persistently advocated for permanent appointments. Recently, these temporary workers caused a disturbance at the municipality's main office, staging a protest. Additionally, from December 12, some of these daily workers initiated a fast unto death, leading to their overnight detention at Katargam police station. During this protest, the health of a woman named Lalitaben Maru deteriorated, prompting the 108 medical team to examine her and arrange for necessary treatment.
