In connection with a fraud amounting to lakhs, former BJP corporator Anil Bhoj and his brother have been arrested. The fraudulent activities were related to the Lakshmi Bachat Yojana and Lakshmi Poojan Bachat Yojana initiated in 2013 by their father, Kanjibhai Bhoj. Following their father's demise in 2019, the two brothers, Arvindbhai Bhoj and Anil Bhoj, allegedly defrauded 31 individuals, accumulating Rs. 39.64 lakhs. After a complaint was filed at the Chowk Bazar police station, both brothers were apprehended, and legal proceedings have been initiated.
