The Surat Municipal Corporation has taken a proactive step to prevent suicides at the Kapodra Tapi Bridge, a location notorious for such incidents. In response to previous attempts, the municipality had initially installed an iron railing. However, recognizing the need for additional safety measures, they have now commenced the installation of wire fencing around the existing railing to further discourage such tragic occurrences.
