Saurashtra University is embroiled in controversy once again, this time related to the Ph.D. admission process. The National Students' Union of India (NSUI) protested against the commencement of the admission process, citing violations of UGC rules. In a demonstration at the university, NSUI members burned admission forms, alleging that the irregularities were jeopardizing students' academic paths and demanding adherence to UGC regulations.
