In the vicinity of Ward No. 12, Khajurawadi, near Variawi Bazar, close to the Surat Municipal Corporation head office, residents expressed anger as they encountered contaminated water this morning. Local inhabitants, including the residence of community leader Nazim Pathan, gathered to register complaints about pest-infested water around 7 am. Aslam Saikalwala accused the so-called smart administration of the BJP-led Surat Municipal Corporation, citing a failure in ensuring access to clean drinking water.
