In a significant breakthrough, the PCB team has arrested a fugitive wanted for seven years in a fake currency note case. Acting on a tip-off, the police apprehended him at the textile market gate in West Bengal. Originally from Jharkhand, the accused was involved in ordering fake currency notes from West Bengal and distributing them to accomplices on commission in Surat. Notably, he was previously arrested in 2016 in Varachha with 172 notes of Rs 500.
