Due to this year's increased rainfall, the water level at Ukai Dam has risen consistently for 77 days, by 28.47 feet today, just 3 feet below the dam's rule level of 340 feet. This surplus water not only benefits agriculture but also assists in replenishing groundwater. Farmers have expressed their gratitude for the timely release of water for irrigating their crops by the Irrigation Department.
