The Saurashtra Janata train, en route from Surat to Ahmedabad, narrowly escaped a major accident when the vigilant motor man spotted an iron pipe on the railway track and promptly halted the train. Railway police apprehended Ramji Devshibhai Kordia based on CCTV footage from Kansanagar road, while another suspect remains at large. Investigation revealed that the stolen iron pipe was intentionally placed on the track with the intention to cut it in half.
