On January 12, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the 'Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu,' part of the Mumbai Trans-Harbour Link (MTHL). The bridge, named after former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, was initiated with its foundation stone laid by PM Modi in December 2016. Recognized as the longest sea bridge in India, the Atal Setu is expected to significantly reduce travel time between Mumbai, Pune, Goa, and South India. What used to be a two-hour journey can now be completed in about 15 minutes, marking a transformative development for transportation in the region.
