The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) issued notices to Mumbai Airport and IndiGo for violating norms and mistreating passengers. A viral video showed Delhi-bound IndiGo passengers dining on the Mumbai airport tarmac after their flight was diverted due to poor visibility in Delhi. The notices stated that both IndiGo and Mumbai International Airport Pvt Ltd were not proactive in facilitating passengers. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia held a midnight meeting with ministry officials, resulting in show-cause notices. Both entities must respond to the notices today or face financial penalties. IndiGo has initiated an internal inquiry in response.
