Gujarat has secured its position as the best-performing state in the startup ranking for the fourth consecutive time. The award was presented by the Union Commerce and Industry Minister during the national ranking announcement on Startup Day, January 16, in New Delhi. The assessment, conducted by DPIIT and Startup India for the year 2022, evaluated 33 states and union territories based on 25 action points across 7 critical reform areas. Gujarat's consistent excellence earned it the Best Performer State award in the latest assessment results.
