However, in the wake of the tragic Harni boat accident in Vadodara, the Lord's arrival will now be celebrated with a more devotional spirit, with peaceful events replacing the usual DJ noise. A serene Ram Rally was organized from the Harni Bhidbhanjan Hanuman Temple, carrying the crown of Lord Ramji, Laxman and Mata Janaki to the Ram Temple at Kala Ghoda. The rally also paid tribute to the children and teachers who lost their lives in the lake disaster.
