After launching a business in Gayatri Nagar Society, Surat, Vipul Balar and Alpesh Balar, diamond merchants, allegedly amassed diamonds worth 94 lakhs on a 90-day credit from various traders. When traders approached for payment after the term lapsed, they found the premises locked, and allegations surfaced that the Balars had not paid worker salaries. A complaint has been filed with Kapodra police, prompting an investigation and potential arrest of the accused.
