A dispute over a request for tomatoes turned deadly in Surat's Laskana area, as two neighbours, both labourers, engaged in a quarrel. Tragically, the confrontation escalated, leading to the brutal murder of Bidyadhara Pandav Shyamal by neighbour Kaloguru Santoshguru, who used a knife as the weapon. The Sarthana police have registered a murder case and initiated legal proceedings against the accused.
