The chairman of the Smimer Hospital committee, Manisha Ahir, conducted a surprise inspection of the kitchen of the canteen that prepares food for patients at the Surat Municipal Corporation-run Smimer Hospital. She reprimanded the kitchen staff for finding pebbles in the pulses. Ahir tasted the food herself and gave necessary instructions. She also said that a larger and more convenient kitchen will be built in the hospital in the coming days. Ahir also assured that there will be no irresponsible work in the coming days.
