In the Thorala area of Rajkot, near Swaminarayan School on the main road, a confrontation ensued between the police, Municipal Corporation team, and some individuals resisting the removal of encroachments. Stone-pelting occurred during the altercation, resulting in injuries to a woman constable. The injured constable was promptly shifted for medical treatment. Additionally, a young man, surrounded by a mob, attempted suicide by drinking phenyl in front of the police. He, too, was taken for medical attention. Following the incidents, additional police personnel swiftly arrived at the scene and managed to bring the situation under control.
