Over 100 candidates, successful in the Vidyut Assistant examinations, staged a protest at the GEB (Gujarat Electricity Board) corporator office in Rajnagar Chowk, Rajkot. The demonstrators, despite qualifying, expressed dissatisfaction with the non-recruitment of candidates in the department. Heavy police presence was deployed at the GEB office to maintain order during the protest.
