In a formal ceremony today, Dr. Saurabh Pardhi (IAS) took charge as the newly appointed Collector of Surat District. The collector engaged with officials and staff, familiarizing himself with the district's affairs. Dr. Pardhi, a 2011 batch IAS officer, brings diverse administrative experience to the role, having previously served as the Managing Director of Gujarat Tourism Development Corporation. Originally from Maharashtra, he is set to contribute to the progress and governance of Surat.
