Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) has initiated a Rs 35 crore iconic road project, spanning 2 km and connecting Singh Sarkar Circle junction to Shiv Plaza Outer Ring Road in Sarthana. The road boasts features such as a BRTS lane, walkway, service road, cycle track, street furniture, public seating, and themed landscaping. Education Minister Praful Panseriya laid the foundation stone, emphasizing improved connectivity, reduced traffic congestion, and enhanced city aesthetics. The iconic road is slated for completion within 18 months, promising a transformative impact on Surat's infrastructure and urban appeal.
