In a nostalgic revival, the AMTS fleet in Ahmedabad, which had discontinued double-decker buses in 1985, has reintroduced them today. Six new double-decker electric AC buses, costing around 5 crores, have been added to the fleet. Starting today, one of these buses is now operational on the Ahmedabad route, accommodating 60 to 65 passengers.
