As Narmada River Swells, 1487 Residents from 13 Villages Evacuated and 20 Rescued
Due to the rising water levels in the Narmada River, late at night, the district administration successfully evacuated 1487 individuals from 13 villages, including Alampura, Leelaipura, Ojha, Nani Karol, Lilod, and Diwabet, situated along the riverbanks in Karjan taluka. Simultaneously, a skilled NDRF team safely rescued 20 individuals who were stranded in Diwabat. District Collector Atul Gor, District Police Chief Rohan Anand, local authorities from Dabhoi and Karjan, and members of the administrative team, including police personnel, were actively involved in the rescue mission.
