A victim named Md. Najim Chhote Hussain Khan Pathan, a 23-year-old from UP, was fatally attacked on Wednesday morning near Kasmala graveyard. Police investigations revealed that his neighbour, Gulzar Akbaranbi Pathan, was the alleged perpetrator. Taken into custody from his parents' house in Ahmedabad, Gulzar confessed to the murder. The motive was said to be a dispute over a Rs. 30 thousand loan that escalated when Najim refused. The accused will be presented in court today as the police seek remand for further investigation.
