A six-foot-long crocodile suffered severe injuries, including the loss of part of its mouth, after being hit by a train near the Kalenpur Bhilapur railway track at night. The Gujarat Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, led by Rajesh Bhavsar, and Forest Department official Lalu Nizama were informed by railway track workers. The injured crocodile was promptly brought to a rescue center for treatment.
