In a distressing event, a 17-year-old, Shohail Ansari, on his way to a shrine in Surat's Pandesara, was fatally struck by a speeding dumper. The Pandesara police swiftly arrested the dumper driver, initiating legal proceedings. The victim's body was sent for post-mortem.
