After the Standing Committee approved the Vadodara Municipal Corporation's budget of Rs 5558.86 crore for the year 2024-25, the budget meeting to approve it in the entire corporation house began today. BJP city president Dr. Vijay Shah has also reached Vadodara Municipal Corporation. He will sit in the spectator gallery and watch the budget meeting today. When asked about this, opposition leader Chandrakant Shrivastava, who was present at the budget meeting, gave a sarcastic reply saying that he will speak only as much as the corporators have ordered him to. He has also demanded an inquiry into the involvement of school principals and officials in the Harni boat scandal.
