In the ongoing Student Startup and Innovation Policy at VNSGU, a case of negligence has surfaced. Despite a sanctioned fund of 4 crores, the university received grants of 22 lakhs in 2019 and 45 lakhs in 2023. Over the last 5 years, the state government granted a total of 67 lakhs, of which only 13 lakhs were utilized. Out of 147 startup ideas submitted, only 16 received funding.
