In a significant development, the Gondal B Division Police have registered a case against executive chairman Rajendrasinh Jadeja, member Chandubhai Dabhi, chief officer Ashwinbhai Vyas, and Mayank Vaishnav in connection with the kidnapping and assault of contractor Bipinsingh M. Piludaria from Surat. The case, which occurred three months ago, involves allegations of physical assault and threats to force the contractor to withdraw a tender. The police are now working towards apprehending the accused municipal authorities.
