The Local Crime Branch (LCB) staff intercepted a tempo on the Bharuch-Vadodara route based on suspicion and recovered foreign liquor worth Rs 95,96,600 from the vehicle. The LCB arrested the driver, Athul Gangadharan Pillai, and Anishkumar Unni Hirava, both residents of Kerala, and seized the total proceeds of crime worth Rs 1,06,18,600 and initiated legal proceedings.
