In the recent general meeting of Rajkot Zilla Panchayat, chaired by President Pravinaben Rangani, a total budget of Rs 845.10 crore was ratified. This budget includes Rs 15.47 crore from self-funding. Notably, this meeting marked the first after the leader of the opposition, Arjun Khatriya, joined the BJP. Tensions arose as Congress members expressed dissatisfaction, claiming that their proposed works were not considered in the budget.
