A family abandoned their child at Surat Civil Hospital, where the child had been undergoing treatment for four months. The parents, captured on CCTV, left a month and a half after the child was admitted. The child however, succumbed to their ailments after four months. The parents, who concealed their true identity and address, are being sought by the police, who have registered a complaint at Khatodara police station.
