An accused who had escaped from police custody while on interim bail in a 2023 NDPS case, was arrested by the Surat Crime Branch. Known by various aliases, the accused had donned on the alias of an astrologer to evade arrest. The police apprehended him along with 18 others, seizing a quantity of MD drugs during the operation in Dumas. The arrested individuals, including Viramani, Manoj Patil, and Adil Noorani, are now in custody
