The Surat Crime Branch successfully apprehended Maharashtra resident Amar Vijay Kharat for his involvement in a high-value mobile theft in Kapodra. Kharat and an accomplice rented a room in Navsari, ransacking a mobile shop and stealing over 28 lakhs worth of mobiles and one lakh in cash. The swift action by the police team led to their arrest.
