Small traders need ₹10 notes for their businesses. However, banks are not providing them with ₹10 notes. The notes that are currently available are in such bad condition that no customer is willing to accept them. In addition, even though ₹10 coins are in circulation, customers in Rajkot are not accepting them, which is sometimes forcing traders to do business at a loss. Due to this, traders from about 15 associations of different markets in Rajkot have made a representation to the Rajkot collector and demanded a solution to the problem.
