In a move to restore Vadodara's heritage city identity, the decision to demolish the Padmavati shopping center near Nyaya Mandir was finalized today by the Bharatiya Janata Party's coordination committee. Subsequently, Padmavati shopping center traders staged a protest, closing all shops and urging for the delay of demolition until a suitable alternative site is secured. Concurrently, traders presented their concerns at the BJP office.
