In a startling revelation, a jeweler employed in the Sarin department of a diamond factory located in Surat's Kapodra area has been accused of deception. Surveillance footage captured the suspect, Bipin Sheldiya, substituting high-quality diamonds with lower-grade ones. Following a complaint filed by the factory owner, Kapodra police have initiated an investigation into the alleged exchange, estimated to involve diamonds worth one and a half lakhs.
