Surat City's SOG conducted a raid in Kapodra, seizing banned e-cigarettes valued at ₹14.56 lakh. Dinesh alias Diniya Khimabhai Purohit, 39, was apprehended at Suryakiran Apartment Shop No.1 based on prior intelligence. The raid uncovered 740 packets of assorted foreign cigarettes lacking health warnings, which were illegally stocked and sold from the premises. A case has been filed against the accused, with investigations ongoing.
