The Crime Branch apprehended a gang accused of extorting Rs 17 lakh from an elderly man in Jahangirpura through a honey trap scheme. Four members were caught with valuables worth lakhs at a Navsari farmhouse. The gang targeted city celebrities, posing as fake policemen and using a woman involved in prostitution. Legal action has been initiated against them.
