In a remarkable turn of events, Gondal Marketing Yard experienced an unprecedented influx of farmers from across Saurashtra, all eager to sell their produce. A staggering 70 to 75 thousand bags of gram arrived, leading to queues of over 700 vehicles stretching up to 4 to 5 kilometers outside the yard. During the auction, bids ranging from Rs 1000 to 1156 per 20 kg of gram were made. As a result, the arrival of gram has been temporarily halted until further notice by yard authorities.
