In response to the recent controversy surrounding cow meat samosas, the Health Department of the Vadodara Metropolitan Municipality, alongside the SOG Police, sprang into action. Conducting inspections in the Nyay Mandir area, authorities raided a shop named Famous Samosa based on a tip-off. Samples of kebab samosas and mawa were collected for testing, and some stock was destroyed. Additionally, several shops were temporarily closed as part of the operation.
