The railway booking center, a fixture at Vadodara's Padmavati shopping center for the past three decades, is set to fade into history. From the 16th of April, a decision by the railways will see the closure of this iconic booking center. The Vadodara Municipal Corporation has opted to dismantle the Padmavati shopping center, paving the way for a heritage square in its stead. This transformation entails the closure of the booking center, redirecting passengers to either the railway station or Pratapnagar for their booking needs.
