In a significant development, the Sarthana police, operating in the Laskana area of Surat, have uncovered a substantial gas refilling scam. Upon receiving intelligence, law enforcement officials swiftly moved in and apprehended the perpetrator, Paras Gurjar, who was conducting illicit gas refilling operations within his residence. The investigation revealed that Gurjar was refilling gas from various sources into different gas bottles. Over 50 gas bottles from different companies were confiscated during the raid. The authorities estimate the seized goods to be worth more than 1 lakh rupees. Gurjar has been arrested, and legal proceedings are underway to address the unlawful activities.
