Starting today, Civil authorities will allocate 500 tokens daily for obtaining fitness certificates necessary for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage. The Yatra, scheduled from June 29 to August 19, has been shortened to 45 days due to concurrent elections. Pilgrims are required to acquire fitness certificates, leading to queues forming at the trauma center. Certificates are available between 9 AM and 12 PM on the ground floor of the old trauma center. Notably, certificates won't be issued to individuals under 13, over 75, pregnant, or suffering from heart conditions.
