Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the Diamond Bourse on December 17, but currently, only three out of 4200 offices are operational. Responding to this, the new chairman, Govind Dholakia, convened a meeting with diamond traders. Plans are underway to open SRK's office on July 7, with assurance from 40 fancy diamond traders in Katargam to follow suit. Additionally, leaders from the Surat Diamond Bourse (SDB) will meet with Mumbai diamond traders at the BKC hotel to encourage them to establish offices in Surat.
