Samples of duplicate ghee seized from Goga Chok, Rander, Surat, were found to be substandard. The Surat Municipal Corporation's health department and Randev police seized 225 kg of suspected ghee, sold as original but containing a mixture of vegetable oil, turmeric, and chemicals. Tests confirmed its inferior quality, prompting the SMC to take legal action against those responsible.
